Privacy Policy

The short version

NestHealth is a logbook for parents. Everything you record stays on your iPhone or on a NestHealth server that you or your family run. The developer never receives, sees, sells or shares your records. There are no ads, analytics or tracking.

What the app stores

• Names, optional dates of birth, weights and photos of the people you add.
• Temperatures, medicines and doses, notes, and who logged them.
• Your settings, such as temperature units, reminder preferences and medicine timings.
• If you use a server: the name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash) for each parent's account, plus passkeys and signed-in devices.

Where it's stored

• Just this iPhone: records are kept in the app on your device and included in your iCloud or computer backups. Nothing is sent anywhere.
• Your family's server: records are sent over your network to the server address you enter, which is run by you or your family, not by the developer. Whoever runs that server is responsible for it.

Notifications

Reminders about when a medicine can be given again are created on your iPhone. If your family's server is set up for push notifications, your device's push token is stored on that server so it can send alerts through Apple's Push Notification service. Apple's handling of notifications is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Passkeys and passwords

Passkeys and saved passwords are kept by Apple's Passwords app (iCloud Keychain). The server only stores the public part of a passkey, which can't be used to sign in on its own.

Children's information

NestHealth is for parents and carers to keep records about their own children. It isn't aimed at children, and it doesn't collect information from them directly.

Deleting your data

• Server account: Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you're the last account, you can erase all of the family's records at the same time.
• Just this iPhone: Settings → Data → Erase All Data, or delete the app.
• Individual entries can be deleted at any time from the history.
